Mohammad Ali Hossain a dynamic, innovative and visionary young entrepreneur started this company based on his in-depth exposure in construction and project management.
The BCL team is a unique blend of experienced professionals of technical and management expertise guided by strong motivation, drive and commitment for outstanding achievement. The team consistently demonstrates expertise and professionalism in planning, estimation, design, coordination, execution, construction and supervision of projects.

Dr. Mohammad Ali Hossain P.Eng. PhD
CEO
Throughout his career, Dr. Hossain has amassed extensive project experience, leading the design and construction of over 100 custom-built homes in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and managing architectural planning, scheduling, vendor selection, and quality inspections for 50 of these homes, ensuring they meet Ontario Building Code standards. His expertise in commercial construction includes supervising the building of five multi-story structures totalling 100,000 square feet and valued at $6 million. A strong advocate for civic and cultural heritage, he also led the end-to-end development of the International Mother Language Day Monument at Dentonia Park in partnership with the City of Toronto, which commemorates and celebrates cultural heritage. In telecommunications and civil infrastructure, Dr. Hossain has overseen complex projects involving the replacement of 500 antennas with advanced router systems, enhancing system capacity while adhering to new transmission frequency regulations. Additionally, he managed the installation and replacement of 1,600 km of fiber and copper cables for a $25 million railway communication system. He supervised the construction of 500 telecom truss towers, handling foundations, base stations, and power connections to ensure seamless service. His expertise extends to specialized drilling operations, where he planned and executed a 1,000- meter horizontal directional drilling (HDD) project to connect fiber optic cables under a river, showcasing his skill in high-stakes, innovative infrastructure projects. Dr. Hossain's contributions to public utility management include a joint venture with Peel Region and Ryerson University, where he led degradation analysis on water mains. This demonstrates his commitment to public safety and sustainable infrastructure. In addition, he has taken on humanitarian projects to address water supply needs in underserved urban areas, illustrating his dedication to creating positive community impact. Dr. Hossain's leadership at Banalata Consultants Ltd. is a beacon of hope for sustainable infrastructure. Muhammad Nazrul Islam
Architect
Architect Nazrul achieved his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bangladesh. He has in-depth exposure of architectural design, planning, and management. Mr. Nazrul is a seasoned Architect with over a decade of hands-on experience specializing in construction project management. He is proficient in overseeing the entire construction life cycle from initial planning and design to completion and handover. He demonstrated superb ability to effectively coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. He ensures architectural drawings and specifications adhere to design intent and regulatory requirements. Architect Nazrul has strong leadership capabilities in supervising on-site activities, resolving construction challenges, and implementing quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Syed Khayrul Ahsan
Architect
Mr. Ahsan achieved his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bangladesh. He has adequate work experience based on a significant number of residential and commercial structures. His main focus is concentrated on cost-effective, user- friendly, and modern design. Mr. Ahsan frequently uses AutoCAD, Sketch UP, V- Ray, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lumion, and MS Office for his designing and 3Ds. He is directly involved in BCL’s architectural planning, design permits, and site visits. Architect Khayrul Ahsan aspires to create a bond between architecture and life.
Nushrat Jahan
Project Manager
Nushrat Jahan is a dedicated Civil Engineer with over 13 years of experience in civil design and construction management. She holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from BUET, Bangladesh, and an M.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Ryerson University. Her career began in the telecommunication sector in Bangladesh where she honed her skills in site design for civil works & construction over nine years. After she completed her M.Eng. in 2018, she transitioned to Rebar Enterprises Ltd in Toronto as a rebar detailer for four years, developing a strong foundation in structural detailing. Nushrat Jahan now is directly involved in BCL’s project planning, management, and operation. She is detail-oriented and committed to quality assurance & exceptional customer service. She thrives in both individual and collaborative projects. Her focus is always on delivering results on time and meeting the highest standards.
Sangita Maharjan
Architectural Designer
Banalata Consultant Ltd. proudly introduces a team of skilled architectural designers with over five years of specialized experience in single to multi-unit residential projects. Our designers hold Bachelor’s degrees in Architecture and bring a comprehensive understanding of Ontario Building Code compliance and Toronto's by-law requirements. With expertise in architectural design, detailed site assessments, and collaborative teamwork, we manage all project phases—from concept development to contract documentation. Utilizing advanced 3D design techniques, we are dedicated to creating impactful, future-ready spaces that enhance both functionality and aesthetic appeal in urban environments.
Nashaat Rahman
Architectural Designer
Nashaat Rahman is an Architectural Designer at Banalata Consultants, where she brings expertise in design, drafting, and 3D modelling to residential and commercial projects. With a focus on client-centred design and efficient project management, Nashaat supports the firm’s commitment to excellence in every stage of development. As a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Architectural Studies program, she brings both a thoughtful approach and an eye for detail to her work, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Mohammad Arifur Rahman
Director
Mr. Rahman has over 12 years of experience in real estate management in Bangladesh. He put his visionary and dedicated efforts in passenger service management while acting as a manager in Swissport Canada. With a profound understanding of business management and a keen eye for exceptional customer service, Mr. Rahman is consistently steering his skills towards project acquisition, project management, and marketing & branding for BCL. Mr. Rahman has enriched his portfolio with diverged backgrounds of education. He achieved his Master Degree in English Literature from Bangladesh. He completed a business management diploma from Seneca College. Being passionate, he has been working as a Cardiac Sonographer in a Toronto clinic after he obtained his Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound degree from the Pharma Medical Science College of Canada. As a seasoned professional, Mr. Rahman believes in building and maintaining relationships with all current and prospective stakeholders. His favourite quote is “Winners do not quit and quitters do not win!”
